Rehearsal Plan Tuesday 4/11/2025

On Tuesday 21st Oct we worked on Gaudete, Jul Jul, The Holly & The Ivy & Keep You In Peace. We’re not meeting on 28th October (we’re having a week off for half term), but we’ll be back together on 4th November.

On 4th November I would like us to run through everything on the Christmas Concert list so I can see what we need to work on. We’ve got 5 rehearsals after half term before our Christmas Concert on 7th December.

The list of songs for the Christmas Concert is:

• Gloucestershire Wassail
• I Could Have Danced All Night
• On the Street Where You Live
• Underneath the Stars
• As I Was Walking Out One Night
• Gaudete (please look at your words: V1 Low Part, V2 Sopranos, V3 Altos, V4 everyone)
• The Trees Are All Bare (can you look at the words please)
• Jul, Jul (can you look at / listen to the words please, V1 Swedish then V1 English)
• The Holly & The Ivy
• The Snow Begins to Fall
• You Raise Me Up
• Keep You In Peace

Please could you put the following dates in your diaries:

• Sunday 7th December, Marlborough Town Hall – Christmas Concert, 3.30pm (2pm rehearsal)
• Thursday 11th December, Marlborough Town Hall – u3a Coffee Morning
