Rehearsal Plan Tuesday 05/05/2026

On Tuesday 28th April we sang through Blow the Winds, Only You, & we started work on I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to be Free. On Tuesday 5th May I plan to work on the following:

  • Only You
  • Blow the Winds
  • I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free
  • A Spoonful of Poppins (Mary Poppins Medley)

Dates for your diary:

Saturday 20th June – Sing Out for a Brighter Future, Fundraiser for Great Western Hospital, Immanuel United Reformed Church, Upham Road, Swindon SN3 1DH – our performance time 3 – 3.30pm (warm up will probably be at 2pm, so we can listen to the choir who start singing at 2.30pm before our performance at 3pm).

Provisional song list for Swindon: Blow the Winds, I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free, The Lonely Goatherd, Mary Poppins Medley, On the Street Where You Live.

Saturday 4th July – LINK Afternoon Tea at Kennet Valley Hall, Lockeridge. Time tbc (last year we sang from 3.15 – 4pm, I expect the timings to be similar this year).

Saturday 19th December – Christmas Concert at St. Mary’s Church, Marlborough (the concert will be in the afternoon, probably 3pm
