Summer Term 2024

Our Summer Term is drawing to a close on Wednesday 24th July. We have had an exciting term with good attendance and a great atmosphere at rehearsals.

We very much enjoyed taking part in a ‘Sing-a-thon’ raising money for the Great Western Hospital’s ‘Brighter Futures’ charity on Saturday 22nd June, and we were pleased to take part in Marlborough’s first Health & Wellbeing day on Saturday 6th July (singing is really great for Health & Wellbeing!), and to sing at a wonderful tea party in Lockeridge to celebrate the clients and volunteers who work on behalf of the Marlborough and District LINK Scheme.

We are always pleased to welcome new members. If you are thinking of joining the choir you would be very welcome to come and join us one week for a taster session to see if you enjoy singing with us. The only way to find out is to come and give it a go! The overall atmosphere at rehearsals is great with plenty of enthusiasm, laughter, and kindness. We have about 50 singers in the choir.

If you would like to come and join us, you are most welcome. Do please let our secretary, Alan Pryor (pryoral@gmail.com), know.

Our next rehearsal, after our summer break, will be on Wednesday 4th September 2024, 7.30pm – 9pm in St. Peter’s Church.
